Summary

The uHDMS is a powerful and extremely flexible system for digital television and video delivery over a computer network. The unit has a single input which will supply live encoded television from either an s-video or composite source.

Live Encoding
Connect a DVD player, video camera or any compatible device to stream live content to network-connected displays and desktops in real time with very low-latency.

High Definition Media Delivery
Broadcast multiple channels of ultra-high quality pre-recorded media for advertising, information or entertainment, providing potential revenue-earning services. The uHDMS has capacity of up to 500GB - well over 100 hours of high definition video! Playlisting allows quick and easy scheduling of delivery.

Multi-platform, Consistent Interface
Using the uHDMS EPG-SDK, create an easy to use, attractive interface to all the content being broadcast. The XSL-based rendering engine makes it easy to customise. Templates included with the SDK include Amino STB's, PC's and now Mac.

Integration
Tight integration into the network ecosystem is essential. That's why the uHDMS has a range of services to interoperate with your existing infrastructure. EPG Now and Next information is available as an XML Webservice, or use the completely customisable uHDMS webserver. Any 3rd-party video sources are also easily integrated into the EPG. Important network services such as IGMP and DHCP are available if required.

Set-top Box Control
Achieve fine-grained control over screens. Schedule an individual display or group of displays to play specific content at specific times, or manually change channel on any screen from a remote location anywhere on the network.

Centralised Content Management
Manage content delivery through a simple, secure web-based administration interface. Control independent STB's from a single point either manually or through the creation of an automated schedule. Update all your locations from one central point using safe and secure automated transfer over the internet.
