A high-density media encoder, it will capture, encode, stream, and archive premium-quality audio and video on eight fully independent channels simultaneously. It is the ideal choice for creating select combinations of full- and CIF-resolution streams for your most demanding multi-channel applications.
The Niagara 8224 comes pre-configured and ready to use with Niagara SCX® and SimuStream®. With Niagara SCX remote management software together with SimulStream you can create multiple streams in different formats in real time. You can encode different streams for Intranet users, high-speed Internet users, dial-up users, and users with mobile devices – all at the same time! You can customize each stream with:
- Individual sizing and scaling
- Bitmap overlays (such as logos and graphics)
- Closed-caption pre-rendering, etc.
