GPL and Optibase stay ahead of the game!

Garland Partners and Optibase held a very successful one day seminar at the Ramada Encore Hotel, London to launch Optibase's new pioneering tools for Content Creation, Web TV and IPTV Solutions.
The day began with interactive presentations by Senior Product Managers from Optibase, using live demonstrations of the Creator, MGW encoders, MGW FlashStreamer and EZTV.
In the afternoon the delegates took the unique opportunity to experience a "hands on" session with the equipment and to converse with the technical experts from both Garland Partners and Optibase.
The Seminar attracted representatives from many different fields including broadcasters, government institutions, system integrators and management consultants.
The Demonstrations
CREATOR
An ingest server which allows the conversion of SD and HD files into different encoding formats, bitrates and resolutions. The Creator is a great solution for production studios or VOD creation companies, as it can easily generate input files for popular video editing tools like Final Cut Pro or Avid.MGW HD ENCODER
This is a great quality MPEG4 H.264 HD encoder which is used for streaming HD content in Local Area Networks with bitrates as low as 8Mbps.MGW FLASHSTREAMER
The MGW FlashStreamer is unique appliance which includes both a built-in, real-time Flash Video encoder and a fully featured Flash server in one compact, light-weight unit. It can be used for both LAN and internet streaming.EZTV
EZTV manages streams from a variety of sources in different video formats and offers immediate and interactive access to all video streams. The video feeds are displayed using a multi-channel mosaic view with 1,4,9 or 16 simultaneous screens. The system design allows integration of the organisation's existing Microsoft Active Directory database for user access control and will also support upcoming features such as live stream recording and VOD services.EZTV is an ideal video delivery system for military bases, police forces, corporate IT, government facilities and TV networks, seeking to take full advantage of IPTV in their corporate network environment.
