Key Features
Teracue's DVI & VGA Encoder is an advanced encoding appliance for streaming computer based signals on standard IP networks. The task: taking any PC or screen signal and making it available on the network in real-time, delivering a true ISO/open standard video stream.
Streaming of the native/original DVI & VGA quality and image resolution is
supported: enabling multicast distribution of screen views, without quality loss.
Output streams can simultaneously be viewed on PCs by Teracue's XPlayer,
VideoLAN VLC player, and are fully compatible to Teracue decoders and Amino® set top
boxes for viewing and distributing PC signals on standard TV screens.
- Direct and real-time DVI / VGA encoding
- With output resolutions of HD 1080p & even higher
- Processes input signals up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz
- Variable framerate settings (e.g. 5 fps) for high resolution and low bitrate
- IPTV streams fully ISO/IEC compliant
- Supports up/downscaling of DVI-signals and original image
resolution; no quality loss - Flash format .FLV-streaming in combination with Wowza server
- Transmission of multicast / unicast output-streams
- Supports MPEG-2 SD/HD and H.264 SD/HD
- Supports MPEG-1 Layer 2 Audio and AAC-LC
- Supports UDP and RTP transport streaming (TS)
