The DCH-500EC is the latest version of H.264/AVC Encoder plus the MPEG-2 to H.264/AVC Transcoder. The DCH-500EC can be configured as an encoder and or as a transcoder. The transcoder processes ASI or IP MPEG-2 transport streams.
The encoder handles diverse input signals like SDI SD/HD, HDMI, Composite and YPbPr. With extraordinary picture quality and significant bandwidth liberation, DCH-500EC is the best choice for higher performance encoding and migration from MPEG-2 to H.264.
