SHARNFORD, Leicestershire, UK – September 2009 – Garland Partners Limited (GPL), is proud to announce two new members to the team!
Richard Bell- Technical Sales Manager.
Richard has over nine years experience in numerous aspects of engineering including technical sales, manufacturing, testing and also the development of hardware and firmware for broadcasting products. Richards role at GPL is to provide technical, applications and pre- and post- sales support to current and prospective customers on a wide range of digital video equipment, including IP video encoders and decoders, web-streaming, IP Gateways, IPTV head-ends, Media Servers , Set Top Box and PC/MAC Software players. In his spare time Richard is a keen snowboarder and climber.He also runs his local scout group.
Abby Sheldon- Marketing Executive
Having just graduated from De Montfort University in July 2009 with a BA (hons) in Media Studies, Abby is the newest member to the GPL Team. Hoping to learn and develop her marketing skills as a graduate within the company since leaving her studies, she aims to offer GPL a new and fresh outlook within their marketing and website development. Her role includes designing promotional material for our two main exhibitions Streaming Media (Sept) and BVE (Feb) as well as maintaining the company website, price lists and CRM. She also designs the company's bi-monthly newsletter and puts together the various case studies. Abby has a distinct taste in fashion and is a keen Horse Rider.
