31 Nights of the iTunes Festival, Legendary Music Streamed Live.

Throughout July, the iTunes Festival is bringing more than 60 music artists to Camden’s legendary Roundhouse for 31 consecutive nights. UK fans unable to obtain a ticket to the event can watch the shows live on TV, iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch courtesy of one of the UK's largest commercial broadcasters, ITV.
The iTunes festival is being streamed using the Inlet Technologies Spinnaker S-7100 HD encoder supplied and supported by Garland Partners Limited (GPL). All the coverage will be streamed across ITV’s website and ITV2 with programmes hosted by Fearne Cotton, Dave Berry and Matt Edmondson.
From the Scissor Sister’s glam rock pop sound to the legendary Tony Bennett, the Godfather of Heavy Metal, Ozzy Osbourne, Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro, and from the emotive style of Paloma Faith to the soaring tenor of opera star Rolando Villazon, there is a performance to suit everyone’s tastes.
This show is a huge undertaking, and iTunes want as many people as possible to have a chance to take part, They needed a solution that was easy to use, providing exceptional quality HD streams to a vast audience. The S-7100 provided three adaptive bit-rate H.264 Flash streams delivering high quality feeds to ITV’s website, supporting all their online coverage.
